Medical Credit Controller

We’re accepting applications for the position of Medical Credit Controller. Based in Port Elizabeth, the Credit Controller will be tasked with collecting on patient accounts, allocating payments to the correct accounts, performing account reconciliations, and communicating with patients in a professional manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Controlling debtor accounts and minimising the risk of bad debt
  • Collecting on patient accounts telephonically
  • Allocating payments to the correct debtor accounts
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Communicating with patients in a professional manner
  • Investigating and resolving account queries
  • Preparing invoices and statements
  • Handling related administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric and relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least 5 years experience as a Medical Credit Controller
  • Experience with allocations and reconciliations
