We’re accepting applications for the position of Group Networks Business Administrator. The Administrator will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating various business tasks, ensuring they align with company objectives. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong team spirit, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments. The Business Administrator will also provide support in driving business growth and efficiency by leveraging data insights and optimizing task execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing and co-ordinating various business tasks, ensuring alignment with company objectives and supporting business growth and efficiency by leveraging data insights and optimising task execution
- Serving as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and developing and maintaining strong relationships through regular engagement and feedback mechanisms
- Preparing and delivering comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels, clearly communicating project status, risks and outcomes
- Proactively identifying and addressing stakeholder concerns to ensure project alignment and success
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, acting as a champion for team spirit and engagement
- Mentoring and supporting team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals and facilitating team-building activities and training sessions to enhance team cohesion and professional development
- Providing conflict resolution support and mediating disputes to maintain a harmonious work environment and recognising and rewarding team achievements to boost morale and motivation
- Maintaining accurate and organised records and documentation for all projects and business activities and overseeing administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence and filing to support efficient office operations
- Co-ordinating meetings, preparing agendas and ensuring follow-up on action items to maintain project momentum
- Implementing administrative systems and procedures to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
- Tracking and reporting on the team’s key targets and deliverables
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Utilising data analytics to monitor key performance indicators and drive strategic decision-making
- Conducting regular business performance reviews and recommending actionable insights for improvement
- Supporting business development initiatives by co-ordinating efforts across departments and teams
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across the team
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric and 3 year Degree or Diploma in Business or Management
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in business co-ordination and project management
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, SharePoint and Power BI
- Experience in telecommunications in a large corporate environment
- Experience with project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2
