Marketing Technology and Digital Analytics Specialist

We’re accepting applications for the position of Marketing Technology and Digital Analytics Specialist. The purpose of this position will be to implement a FinTech analytical services framework and strategy to support the analytics requirement of all the business areas within predefined SLA’s across digital platforms. This will include delivering all required analytics, market and competitor intelligence and insights to support the management team decision-making; delivering self-initiated insights and campaign reporting to support CRM and figital marketing campaigns and sales leads; implementing and managing a robust digital analytics framework through the use of Tealium, Adobe Stack and CRM’s across web, mobile and app; and translating business requirements into analytics specifications that speaks to a variety of languages that can be understood by web applications, Tealium and Adobe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the analytical information needs of the business – proactively leading and identifying areas of digital customer behaviour, channel behaviour, and commercial base performance (inflow, base, recommitment, outflow) that require understanding, proactively gathering reporting and analysis requests from the business and product owners
  • Translating business requirements into analytical implementation specifications that speak in a variety of languages that can be understood by web applications, Tealium and Adobe
  • Executing owned media campaign ideas into A/B, multivariate and experience tests, using personalisation and targeting to optimise conversion rates, provide simplification, optimise drop-off rates and drive landing page improvements, uploading offline data into Target to enable one-to-one personalised campaigns and providing solutions to match online and offline data
  • Creating compelling actionable insights that significantly improve knowledge of digital customer and channel behaviour, and open new commercially viable opportunities for churn, revenue and margin improvement
  • Implementing the analytical services framework and strategy to support all business areas’ reporting requirements within predefined SLAs and managing resources effectively, along with recommendations for reporting technologies
  • Delivering the reporting sets for the business unit
  • Taking responsibility for the development of detailed, robust business analytical models that can be deployed to various divisions within digital
  • Conducting and facilitating analytics and modelling, delivering data for campaign targets and sales leads
  • Delivering data extracts to support commission payments
  • Segmenting the enterprise base to support reporting, campaigns and forecasting
  • Providing leadership, planning, technical direction and communication to ensure the required delivery of high-quality outputs to meet customer needs in the most cost-effective manner
  • Achieving revenue uplift and/or savings through CRM improvement initiatives and digital campaigns optimisation
  • Managing the budget for contractors, CRM, analytics/insight tools and capabilities

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric and relevant BComm or BSc Degree
  • At least 3 to 5 years’  experience in a Fintech/digital role with similar functions
  • Exposure to JavaScript, web page structures, ITIL, Agile, SQL, reporting tools, etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Tealium IQ, Adjust and Adobe Target
  • Experience with digital-based and online information systems
  • Knowledge of web best practise usability and accessibility standards
  • Analytics, reporting, data analysis and business analysis experience
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML and web design
  • Remedy, Jira and Confluence experience
